Iván Szántó gave a lecture entitled The Gardens of Omar Khajjám

Using the example of one of the best-known early New Persian literate, Omar Khajyam (1048-1131), the lecture described the process of the parallel spread of Persian literature and garden art far beyond Persia. To illustrate this,some of the well known and lesser known gardens inspired directly or indirectly by Omar Khajiam in the last millennium werw introduced at the lecture.
